My most recent 'pet project' has been building an embedded app for SmartThings in my apartment. It all started when I wished I had a tablet app to control SmartThings.
From this spun the idea that there should be a control panel to have on the wall of the main room with the ability to control most everything in the house through Z-Wave, BLE and even IR.
Designed for the Windows 10 IoT Core as a UWP app, the design is meant to keep in line with expected Windows UI features.
